Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for anyone who's curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
Alpha has been running all over the world for the last couple of decades in churches, pubs, prisons & homes where nearly 30 million people have taken part and loved the experience.
How does it work?
Sunday Afternoon Alpha starting 28 September 2025
This course starts at 3pm. Each session includes a short video and a discussion in a small group where you can share your thoughts.
Venue: Philippi Room at Christ Church Purley
Evening Alpha - starting 4 March 2026
This course runs between 19.30 and 21.15pm on Wednesdays. Each session starts with a meal followed by a short video and a discussion in a small group where you can share your thoughts.
Venue: Philippi Room at Christ Church Purley
At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge.
Alpha takes place across eleven sessions.
How much does it cost?
